My memories of the country’s 1st women’s marathon.
The 1st Malaysia Women Marathon (MWM) held in Shah Alam on 7th April 2013 was easily one of the most enjoyable races I have ever been part of. Although the targeted number of participants fell short by about 700 (1,800 registered when 2,500 was the aim), it was still an event full of wonderful memories for me and my running sisters. I got to meet a running legend (Kathrine Switzer), I befriended the race director Karen Loh, I improved my half marathon timing, and most important of all, I witnessed some of my friends completing their first full marathons.
I hereby present you a video of my memories of MWM. This montage is dedicated to all the men and women who have ever inspired me to become better and to never give up.

Looking forward to witness you doing your FMV in MW2014, Fairy… I have faith in you that you will be able to finish it strong and in style too… One fine day, you will be ready and train really hard for it… =D
Thanks Aizat for your words of encouragement. Insyaallah one day I too will have the courage and strength to undertake one of these 42.195km events. 🙂 Where and when? Jeng jeng… Tuhan saja tahu.
